I know I had the light metering on my camera somehow turned up for a while and couldn't get it back down without my hubby's help (of course he had messed with the settings so that the button that usually changed that changed something else instead). Do you have one of those screens on the top of the camera to see your settings or do you have to go into a menu to do so?Abbie Burnhamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14138691581410415708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31324562.post-87690144706742384002010-07-13T08:25:19.710-07:002010-07-13T08:25:19.710-07:00Well, if we want our $8,000 in free government mon...Well, if we want our $8,000 in free government money, we have to stay here for 3 years! :o( After that.Megan Busathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16565685555082298408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31324562.post-66643886262856691602010-07-13T06:09:26.036-07:002010-07-13T06:09:26.036-07:00dear erin and megan,

Depending on the camera 'automatic' mode may not change the ISO value for you.

The problem seems to be that it's overexposing. So it's going to be one of the following: ISO is too high, aperture is too large (small f number), or the shutter is open too long.

While one of those things is what's resulting in the overexposure of the actual pictures, it could be due to an underlying cause such as your camera's light meter being busted and it miscalculating the exposure settings.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16490135657896840482noreply@blogger.com
