Speaking of babies...

So writing about Dr. Gordon started me thinking about babies and being in the hospital. Bryce informs me that this is pathetic, but I saw a link for this hospital gown and the next time I have a baby I want it or something like unto it. It is even named after me, how nice. There is just something about sitting in a hospital room for 4 days wearing a standard-issue green hospital gown that makes me feel really sub-human...maybe it isn't so much the gown as the being cut open, not being allowed to use the bathroom by yourself, being caged in one room for days, not choosing your own food, not being allowed to wear any undergarments, and pregnancy/new baby hormones -- but I'm blaming the gown.

Yes it is ridiculous. $48 for a piece of cloth shaped like a potato sack?! Give me a break! Not that my wife's imagined comfort isn't worth all the cedars in Lebanon.
